Aesop’s Fables (ages 6-12)
June 15-18 | Register
For hundreds of years, people have been sharing Aesop’s fables to prove a point or teach a moral. These stories can be fun, silly, and can also reflect real life. In this camp, we focus on a different tale each day and learn important lessons it conveys. The Goose Who Laid the Golden Egg and The Monkey and the Camel are just a few of the fables we use for inspiration in paintings, sculptures, and drawings.
Farm and Woodland Animals (ages 6-12)
June 22-25 | Register
This camp is suitable for any child wanting to learn to paint, draw and sculpt animals. We create dioramas of farms and woodland life, make animals from clay to place in our dioramas, and learn to draw the critters living in these two environments. By the end of camp, your child will know how to draw a variety of animals. There is a wide age range, so we have many helpers giving loads of one-on-one attention.
Harry Potter (ages 6-12)
June 29–July 2 | Register
Fairies (ages 5.5-11)
Dinosaurs (ages 5.5-11)
July 13-16 | Register
If your kids have even a remote interest in dinosaurs, they are going to love this week of dino summer camp! Kids will learn all about fossils, volcanoes, and paleontology, and learn to draw and paint various dinosaurs. Your kids will take a four-day adventure back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the Earth!
The Wizard of Oz (ages 6-12)
Are you ready for a journey down the yellow brick road? In this camp, children will bring the world of The Wizard of Oz to life through drawing, painting, and sculpture. We create a plaster Toto sculpture, a yellow brick road diorama, and Dorothy’s house post-tornado! This is one of our most popular camps.
African Animals (ages 5.5-12)
Artists will learn how to draw and paint wildlife from this vast continent. We use clay and plaster to sculpt an African animal of their choice. Kids learn to paint lions, camels, gorillas, elephants, monkeys, and more!
The Hobbit (ages 5.5-11)
August 10-13 | Register
This mystical tale is about a hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, who goes on an adventurous quest with a group of dwarves and the wizard Gandalf. They intend to fight the dragon Smaug, who stole the treasures and homes of the dwarves. Projects inspired by this tale include paintings and drawings of dragons, a diorama of the Shire, and more.
Forests (ages 5.5-11)
Forests cover more than one-third of the Earth’s surface. Artists are introduced to three different types of forests: Tropical, Boreal, and Temperate, and will learn to draw, paint, and sculpt the flora and fauna from each.
